Neither of them are particularly healthy. Energy drinks are cram packed full of sugar and caffeine, which is why they give you energy. Most people don’t need protein shakes as you have enough protein in the food that they’re eating. The only benefit of protein shakes is that you can take them in the hour window after sport when you really need carbs and proteins to help get your muscles recover. But a protein shake won’t give you anything that chocolate milk doesn’t give you (and it’s cheaper!).
So that’s a long-winded way of saying that neither of them are healthy for most people 😆
