You absolutely 100% can still do it. I’ve taught loads of people to be scientists who were dyslexic. Your teachers at university just need to think about how they teach you so they can best support you and help you learn. E.g. I make sure PowerPoint slides are up before the class so you have time to read them. And I record my classes to make sure they can go back to things if I’ve gone too quick or they’ve missed. The software we use allows you to pause, rewind, skip things, as well as let you add your own revision notes to it. I also record tutorials with students using a webcam and then make the video so that only they can see it. And when I’m giving students an assignment, I make sure I don’t just have it written down. I give them a video of me talking though what I want them to do.

Dyslexia isn’t something that should stop you achieving anything. It’s just something that helps us teachers be creative 🙂

      Totally agree with Batman.

I know a few people with dyslexia, who have become amazing scientists.
The way you read words doesn’t affect your ability to interpret data in the slightest, so don’t let it put you off!

      Hey, sleeping?or not?

Well, I wish I was dyslexic if I could see the world a little differently and read the letters a bit inversely.
Anyway getting to the point, not being artistic and multi-perspective about it.

Do you know all the greats were dyslexic like ALBERT EINSTEIN, Michael Faraday, Thomas Edison and John Lennon <3 Take this as an ability and a gift.
Just be who you are, be passionate, do your best, make your weakness your strength and nothing can stop you! Think of yourself like a superhero from another planet who has difficulty in understanding earth's writings and customs much like Superman.

      Lots of love and encouragement

      Agree with all above.
There is no reason why dyslexia should hold you back in this day and age. You might not be quite so good at spelling, but you’re likely to be much better at some other things. Make sure your parents and teachers get you the support you need with all that writing stuff so that you can show off your true talents and natural skills.
