      Hey Lyla, thanks for the question!

      I study Salmonella, which are one of the types of bacteria (germs) that give you food poisoning (tummy ache and being sick!).

      I’m really interested in why some Salmonella really like to live in pigs, but don’t like to live in people!

      I don’t really have inventions, but the stuff I find out about the bacteria will help us to look at ways to make food safer for everybody in the future!

      I want to know if food can make you better at sports. It’s good to know cos it makes great TV when you’re watching people racing or playing sports. And it brings people together – you only need to look around while the World Cup’s on to see the community spirit it has!
