      Folic acid is really important in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, but you usually take it as a supplement not a food (as that way you get the right amount in one go). It helps stop neural tube defects). Fruit and veg is good in pregnancy. 2 portions of fish a week is good for both the mum and baby.
