So this is a big thing! There were lots of arguments over who did it first. Alexander Graham Bell is the one who gets all the credit – did you know he used to answer the phone with “ahoy-hoy!”. I think we should all do that next time someone calls us 🤣

Indeed, apparently it was an Italian man named Antonio Meucci who developed what we would call the telephone, first.
Poor guy never got any of the credit!

Mark and Ali you both are right and wrong. The bits of technology needed to make phones was invented by Tesla. The court declared that Tesla was the inventor as he had all the patents in his name but unluckily it was after Tesla died.
