Question: why do you like batman?

I think the bigger question would be why would you NOT like batman?! 😆
I like batman because he helps other people, but because he does it in a mask it means he’s not doing it for the glory. I also like batman because I have many happy memories of watching re-runs of the 1960s batman with Adam West in when I was a kid. Something about the *POW and *WHACK *BIFF *SOK and the low-tech nature of it makes it fantastic TV. It was so simple and good always won. What’s not to love about that?! But then as I was growing up there were new batman films and I loved those too because he evolved. And then the most recent ones are darker, and I guess I like those more now that I’ve grown up. It kinda feels like batman’s grown up with me.

I guess the other thing is there are so many parallels between my job and batman. Neither of us are in it for the fame and glory (altho CLEARLY I’d do Strictly if I ever got asked! 😂) but like fighting crime, sport has so much potential to improve people’s lives. You only have to look around to see the impact the World Cup’s having. It brings communities together. So I like to think that in my own little way I’m making the world a better place. Like batman does!🦇

Because he doesn’t have superpowers. Sure, he’s mega rich, but he’s also smart, and has loads of inventions, and works out how to beat the badguy with intellect, not just strength.
He’s basically all scientists 😀

I like Mark’s explanation. I like Batman for the same reasons, he invents things he can not do, defeats his enemy with wit and cool tech. Also, he does that in hiding like scientists, knows how to fight and is handsome as well 😛 :D.
