      Raw eggs can make you quite ill if they have salmonella in them. Mark knows more about salmonella than I do, so he might be able to answer that bit. You also don’t absorb the protein from it as well as you do cooked eggs.
      Smoothies aren’t bad in small amounts – the equivalent to what you’d have as a whole fruit. You shouldn’t have more than 150ml a day, which is just over half a cup. More than that you’re getting a lot of sugar and not much fibre (whole fruits have fibre in but juices and smoothies don’t). So yeah, I’d say smoothies are healthier, but only in small amounts.
