      Not going to lie, I had to look this one up! (Great question BTW!) apparently it depends on how you define a river, as some could be counted as two. So it’s either the Severn (220 miles), or if you count the River Churn as part of the Thames (as it’s one of its tributaries) then it’s the Thames – it’s 229 miles if you include the Churn and 215 miles if you don’t.
